Day 138-She is so photogenic …

Some animals just love getting photographed, and that seems to be the case with Neko. Not only did sit still in the same position for almost an hour, but she turned her head every couple of minutes.

Day 134 & 135-Bricks

In my attempt to branch out and to try photograph things besides food and nature, I found this pretty awesome Gothic-like church. I love that the tower only has vines on one side of the tower; it makes the building all the more creepy.

Day 131-Ropes and Tides

In the last couple of weeks, I had not been enjoying taking pictures, whether it was lack of inspiration or the time change, my camera was used very little; I decided to take a break from Project 365 and blogging in general. However, this morning I woke up with sudden urge to start taking photographs. Also, I am determined to finish this project, even if I take a little bit longer than a year to complete it. I decided a long walk in the bright sunshine would help with inspiration and it did!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am starting this week off by saying I am thankful that my creativity has been reawakened!

Day 127-130-A Cold Weekend!

I have been a total slacker lately, but I think the cold makes me lazy.  It was a beautiful snowy and cold weekend, and I tried walking around my favorite lake today, but it was way too windy! Winter Storm Brutus certainly made an impact!

Day 125-Go Vote!

Even though I voted a couple of weeks,  I am encouraging every one in the US to go out and vote today! Not to sound to cliched, but voting is one of the most important rights we have as Americans, and we should all let our voices be heard, regardless of who you are voting for, just vote!

Countless men and women fought for every American to be able to vote, and we all should exercise that right! That being said, I want to send a special thank you to Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the women who pioneered the suffrage movement, as well as every other women who fought for women’s right to vote; without them, I probably would not be able to vote so easily.
