This weekend, I went apple picking with a plan to make some apple butter the following weekend. The apples were beautiful, and I really enjoy the picking of apples. There is definitely something great about getting you food directly from the source. No other hands touched my apples, but me!
I was so excited to can the apple butter, but then my dearest friend (let’s just call her Peach and Half) told me about the possibility of botchalism in the canning process; now I have this growing fear about canning the apple butter, thanks Peach and Half! I will make the apple butter because what else I am going to do with a bunch of apples?
